    Hello Carlos,

    Thanks for your answer.

The problem is, the TF5 charger is 12V. Most device are 5V.

Van you chateau your experience when it arrived?

    Regards,

    Christophe

I think you are confused, most hubs can support the original chargers of the notebooks, they have a USB-C plug with PD support. And the charger of the F5 will work with most of the hubs with USB-C PD support.

Anyone purchased an actual hub that’s supports pd via usb-c? UGREEN for example lists apple, xioami and Lenovo to be compatible but not Asus and others.

I’m sorry. I have bought a TECLAST F5 too and now it’s my fifth USB HUB that is not compatible with my Laptop. Two of them are UGREEN and they don´t work either. I am 1 week looking for one compatible and I still could’nt find it.

Seriously, why not just use the micro usb port. I use it with my hub, works perfectly fine.

Because we really want to take advantage from the actual USB-C port.

    Here is my experience:

    1. Using a D-LINK DUB‑M420 it works fine, I do have HDMI output while charging with original charger and also I can use USB A ports. With any other PD charger (powerbank 18W and usb c PD power brick of 30W) it simply do not charge either directly or trough the hub.
    2. Using Baseus Mirror Series Multiport 5 in 1 it was either charging or outputting hdmi signal. When I was doing both screen was going black. I’ve tested this on other laptop and works well (chagers with PD while outputs video signal)

Recently this question has become popular. As for me, I use a special hub dock designed for both MAC and Windows laptops. Well, it’s natural to expand the USB port for easy access to peripheral devices and this station is very convenient, you can connect many elements and the coolest thing is that the station supports output in the form of a 4K signal. This is very cool.
