    Hi

I have an F6 plus I was trying to set up on linux. I changed a BIOS setting from Windows to Linux and it now starts to a black screen. I’m hoping it just doesn’t like that BOIS setting and want to reload defaults.

Can someone please tell me what the key strokes are so I can load and save default settings? For example another post suggests this for the F5 but it doesn’t work:

    • hit power button and escape key to enter bios
    • F3 for load defaults and enter to select
    • F4 to save and exit and enter to select

Ok this is fixed. As best as I can tell changing the system setting in BIOS from Windows to Linux bricked it. BIOS didn’t load so there was no display and ‘blind keying’ default setting did nothing – no surprise if BIOS wasn’t loading.

The solution was to unplug the main battery and leave it for a while – 30 minutes for me. After that the F6 booted up again. My best guess is that it cleared BIOS. I couldn’t find a BIOS jumper on the board.
