Hello, I’m getting crazy with my new Teclast F6 Plus laptop. I have recently installedn Ubuntu 20.04 but I don’t have wifi. The problem is that it seems there are no wifi adaptar, because I can’t find nothing about Wifi in Settings->Network. It looks like a non wifi laptop.

Wifi adapter is Intel Wireless-AC 3165 and I found some information about drivers… but no solution for me.

In Windows everything works great so I don’t know which is the problem. I have bought this laptop to use it with ubuntu and I’m becaming crazy.

I have read about f5 solutions.. but someone ha tried something for F6 Plus?

    Thanks!

I ran into the same problem. On Windows, I met tablets that have half of the hardware was not seen until you install the chipset driver. I suppose it’s the same here.

Apparently, we will have to ask the manufacturer to give some hint

    No… : – (

The latest version of Linux mint 20.1 also did not help.

The tech support site Teсlast remains silent.

Some experiments suggest that the problem is not with the AC3165 driver, which is known. The problem is in the PCI bus driver “PCI Express Root Port-31D7”, which, according to the dispatcher of Windows, is the parent of the network module. Linix does not know such a device!

The latest version of Ubuntu 23.04b (I used the cinamon version — lunar lobster) saw wifi and other devices perfectly, including the touch screen. In new install, only the orientation sensor and disabling the keyboard in tablet mode do not work.
