I’ve used a number of programs over the weekend to benchmark this notebook and some tests were performed more than once on different days and a few notable tests before and after updating Windows 10 with the Intel patch which indeed shows a drop in performance with the 4k sector speeds with the Teclast SSD nothing drastic in the reads only writes were impacted.

I’ve updated all drivers before benchmarking and all of the latest Windows 10 security updates were installed I’m on build 1709 I think.
Intel Driver assistant and Driver Booster 5 but don’t apply all drivers pick carefully and don’t use device manager to update the drivers it will often install out of date drivers and may not even be the correct ones installed.
HOT TIP: Magic Sound in device manager you will see this twice uninstall and reboot you will get English listed in device manager instead of Chinese font also it will download much more recent drivers automatically than otherwise. I found the microphone hiss has changed to being more of a hum as a result however it is still not detecting the correct setup as I believe this has two microphones and still only sees one input. They advertise this to have twin mics for noise cancellation instead windows 10 is probably incorrectly seeing this and resulting in this distortion.
