teclast f7 black screen what causes it

I am looking at a teclast f7 laptop owner says it Teclast f7 that turns on but has a black screen. The laptop was purchased in a lot so I am not sure what all could be wrong with it. It is being sold as is no returns.

So with the above listing details does that mean the motherboard is bad and would be unfixable?

I am new at this brand have work mostly on Dell Lenovo and HP
