Teclast F7 touchpad sensitivity and compatible protective film

I’ve had this laptop for a few months now and i really like it, but i have an issue with the touchpad.

The touchpad itself is great, it’s large and the gestures work really well, but it’s too smooth and sometimes it doesn’t recognize my fingers. I was thinking that i could fix it by applying a “screen protector” for the touchpad but i can’t find any for this laptop, does anyone know if any of the macbooks or other laptops have the same touchpad size?
