great to have teclast official …
about survey, please teclast, you should focus on support old customer base, and fix bug on your products instead releasing new devices every 2 month and and leave you old customer.
X98 air 3G first model no problem but all later version Gpu bug lead to freeze tablet (partially fixed with undeclok gpu under android, still freeze under wi10)
X98 pro .. full of bugs, allmost unstable(for most user), i keep mine one week then send it back , discontinued product ??
X80/X98 plus Sdcard hudge bug ! (please fix this !!) new X98 plus 3G still have sdcard bug ???i hope one day teclast will be able to release bugfree devices … but i doubt … buying teclast is like box of chocolate, never know what will be inside ..
teclast are still good product, if you know how to fix problem ! 🙂 since you dont update/fix your products
and please release kernel source ! so we can fix mode deeply ! since your android is not the best arround
感谢和美好的一天March 17, 2016 at 11:52 am #29765I agree with spzjulien.
I bought a Teclast x98 Plus (A5C6) and still no fix for SD Card issue, RAM speed and OTG Charger.
I hope you will better focus on “old” (3 months old!) customer base instead of releasing newer and newer devices each month.

March 17, 2016 at 1:36 pm #29777Hello! I am from Teclast offical. It’s exciting to see so many teclast user here! Teclast is going to purchase the new 2in1 series Tbook. And we want more suggestion about Tbook.Like hardware, prize, outlook, stylus, etc. The survey is chinese fornow,I will translate it later. Truly hope you can give us your opinion. Thanks! Survey link: http://www.sojump.com/jq/7461894.aspx Forgive my poor english,It must be full of grammar mistakes….:D
Mayuyu, advise Teclast to produce the first Chinese open source tablet. Let the user’s support your devices for you! Save manpower and gain more customers.
Do no use PWM screens like in the X98 Plus.
Use much better speakers.
Improve the touch sensitivity.
More USB ports.
I may be dreaming but…tablet with removable battery could be cool.
Fix SD card issues!
Fast charging!! 8 hours is ridiculous.
No less than 128GB on dual boot devices!
Better cameras (and wider front camera for skype!)About the survey, I will wait for an English translation.

agree …
empty ssd slot will be great ! (so we can add nice own one)
do you have 8h charging with original charger/cable ? for me 3h charge ..
use chrome browser and clic translate 🙂March 17, 2016 at 6:47 pm #29823Nice to have someone from Teclast here! I hope you can fix current model issues before making new ones.
My suggestions:
- Please no more Atom X5 Z8300’s tablets How about the new Atom X5 Z8550 or more Atom X7 models?
- And dual band Wireless AC modules now. It’s about time, Broadcom make a cheap one that would only increase your production costs around $5 instead of the Realtek Wireless N modules.
- If a tablet is over 10.6 inches it should have a kickstand in the design.

Next up for review:
Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30March 17, 2016 at 9:11 pm #29863I totally agree with GAL.
Open the source of your software and thousands of developers here, at XDA and in other tech forums, will help Teclast to get the most of their products and also will attract a lot of customers for you.
I will never buy a device if there is not a huge advanced user base working with it at techy forums.
Regarding hardware, fix drivers problem is a must. Also provide good accesories.
We really need a fix for SD Card problems and a USB Hub that could be used and charge at same time.
Best whishes for your company.

March 17, 2016 at 10:35 pm #29870Yes i can agree better to solve the mean issue’s like otg charging en sd card problems then press one to the next product.
My personally tried already 6 different brands and bios update without result !
Before starting to develop to the next product please make sure that the current ones are bugfree (or give the community the tools to develop sollutions)
Please don’t make the mistake that too many company’s make and leave your user base unsatisfied.
As upcomming brand that’s the quickest way to start making a good solid user base and also satisfied customers in the end.

People need to realize that this is low cost tablet. The folks here who broke screens can see that the screen costs $80 retail from China. So that alone will give you a hint at the economics that these Big 3 china tablet makers deal with. Yup, we want 3 ports, better speakers, laminated screens, removable battery..lol, but that will add hundreds to the price.
The open source is just dreaming, might as well email your competition your hard worked for /costly code.
I do agree with Chris, Z8350 at least and bring on the Z8550 and AC wireless. One more USB 3.0 port + the charge port!
March 18, 2016 at 2:56 am #29890To be honest,I know firmware update supporting is our weakness. There are many commercial reasons in it.Onda,Cube, they keep release new devices. And we have to catch up keep competitive, feels like stuck in a dilemma.
We are trying to do our best to fix bugs,I just handout the X98 Plus sdcard feedback to our engineers.

And please give us more feedbacks.thanks again
March 18, 2016 at 9:41 am #29903It would be nice if the GPL Open Source parts of the kernel was released. Then you could keep your proprietary parts as the trade secrets they are. That would make the community happy while software updates and bug-fixes could be provided to you for free.
Same as everyone else, I think that you should try to take care of your old customers before getting new ones. If the old customers are happy with your products, they will recommend it to their friends, family, online forums, etc. That is free advertising of the best kind. If they are unhappy… The same friends, family and online forums will know it, and NOT buy your product.
Going through the survey now… The translations seems to work fine.
First Question: The second choice seems best, then the keyboard also could contain extra battery.
Second Question: Z8700
Third Question: 8GB
Fourth Question: 128GB SSD
Fifth Question: 12.2″
Sixth Question: Third option(I think it means that it’s optional, one version with and one without) I myself have no need for 4G while others might.
Seventh Question: I think this would cost around $300-$350 plus the optional keyboard/touchpad/USB-ports/battery combo for around $50 totaling $350-400.
Question Eight, Nine and Ten are not relevant.
If the current problems with the X98 Plus(and other devices) got fixed, and you showed us that you care about the customers. I’d buy the above setup in a heartbeat. If you don’t work with the community to fix the problems, I wouldn’t bother buying another Teclast product.

Very appreciate!That means a lot!
March 19, 2016 at 12:30 pm #30033I have aX98 plus dual boot with a camera problem i can not find support to fix camera. There is zero support on TECLAST website. You need to have tech support for fault tablets. The average or low tech tablet user can not work around bugs.

I’m very interested in the TBook 11 and might just order it…I just hope this model gets proper firmware fix for bugs when needed and hopefully Teclast did not down clock the performance of the chipset, otherwise the TBook 11 looks very good IMHO especially with a Samsung IPS panel.
March 26, 2016 at 8:33 am #30912Dear Mayuyu, how things are going with the problem of reading memory cards on a 32GB X98 plus? How long are you going to collect statistics on your site, when they attempted to fix this problem?
What news from your engineers on this issue? One gets the impression that you just throw dust in the eyes, in fact, doing nothing.
Write to us what successes have been achieved in this regard to address the problem. -
