Teclast P80X does not turn on after running out of battery

Hello.

I have Teclast P80X tablet and the tablet was working perfectly, the battery ran out, and it never turned on again.

– I left it charging for several hours (but no more battery indicator appeared on the screen).
– I changed the charger to an equal one because I bought 2x P80x, used another charger from my smartphone, and nothing…
– I used the key combinations:

Charge the tablet overnight
Press and hold the power button for 3+ minutes
Press and hold the power button and the volume up button for 3+ minutes
Connect it to my computer

I also made this option:
– Hold the power button down for 14 seconds.
– Leave the tablet, plug it in overnight to charge.
– In the morning hold the power button for 3 seconds and then keep tapping it again a few times it should power on.

Nothing works.

I sent a message to Teclast and they sent the firmware, but when I do this step:

5. Click the “Update” icon and hold down the VOLUME_DOWN of table then connect with computer. The tablet will start the installation automatically.

Nothing happens because the tablet doesn’t turn on and the computer doesn’t recognize it.

 

Is there any solution?

Pelo nome deves entender português.

Estive à procura no youtube e não encontrei videos.

Podes tentar o seguinte:

Tira a tampa do tablet e desliga a bateria.

Se a ligação da bateria estiver soldada é necessário dessoldar.

Antes de o fazer marca a disposiçao dos fios.

Depois carregas no botão para ligar durante 45 segundos.

Voltas a soldar a liga na disposiçao que estava.

E deve funcionar.

Se a ligação for uma ficha, basta desconetar a ficha, carregar o botão

para ligar durante 45 segundos e voltar a conetar a ficha e ligar o tablet.

Boas. Sim sou português. Também fartei-me de procurar e sim, será essa a ultima opção. Acho k nem para a garantia vou mandar, visto ter sido na banggood. Eu ja tinha tirado a tampa com esperança que a bateria fosse so de encaixe, mas não, é com fios…

 

Isto foi a minha pequena, que a bateria acabou, e tentou ligar várias vezes e pumba, nunca mais ligou…

Boas.

Resolvi a situação sem dessoldar. De um cabo USB, foi retirado a ponta e toquei com cada um dos fios nos polos da bateria e assim fez com que o tablet ligasse e começasse a carregar.

 

O estranho é que a bateria estava a 40%…

Filipe Almeida, consegues explicar melhor essa solução do cabo USB? Quais foram os fios com que tocaste nos polos? Obrigado.

i have the same problem but I just solved it.

So, i want to share it maybe someone is looking for a solution. Here was what I did.

1. open the phone housing/casing and you will see the circuit/battery etc. remove any salotape if any to see it clearly.

2. find the battery cable(red/black) which connected to the circuit/board. Disconnect it for a while, may be for 8 second. if not work may be try again for longer period.

3. after that, reconnect the wire back to its place.

4. connect a charger and see if that works.
