Teclast t30 keyboard keeps disconnecting

I have just received a Teclast T30 tablet, with docking keyboard. The problem is that every time I so much as move the keyboard from near vertical, it disconnects. It then reconnects with an extremely annoying little warble which, after a few repetitions  makes me want to bin the darn thing.

Anyone else had this trouble and found a solution? I tried a tiny bit of WD40 and that seemed to work, but next morning it didn’t.

I reckon the little magnets are not strong enough. If I tilt back the keyboard I can see the pins pulling out.
