Hi,
I bought a Teclast X 5 Pro from China which seems this Chinese Version though I found multi language option in setting but cant change language from Chinese To English US.
If I reinstall Windows again then will it be changed language ?
What to do if the Stylus doesn’t work after re-installation Windows ?
What to do if the Docking Keyboard doesn’t work after re-installation Windows ?
Kindly advise .
Thanks.

July 23, 2017 at 2:43 pm #69562I had this laptop for a while till I sent it back due to power issues. If you’re not having these power issues (power saving modes do not work) then most likely you have a good version. In which case, re-installing windows will get the touch screen, pen and keyboard working. You may need to update to the latest (I believe Creator edition) of Windows 10 for everything to work. If everything works fine, then leave it there, I’ve had mixed results with downloading the Intel upgrade tool and updating various drivers, but it may work for you.
Good luck! This laptop is a finicky beast.

Thanks a lot for your advise.
After Windows Re-Installation the Language has been changed and the Pen and Touch is working docking keyboard still doesn’t work.
Could you pls advise the tutorial/ step how to fix/active docking Texlast X5 Pro keyboard.
It would be great help for me.Thanks/
TouhidJuly 25, 2017 at 2:21 am #69627That’s very weird. I re-installed multiple times and the keyboard has always worked right off the bat. These systems are really finicky though.
What you can do as well is download the re-installation bundle from Teclast. Go here: http://www.teclast.com/en/firmware/
Type in the ID of your X5 Pro. Mine was k3j2. Download all 3 parts, and write the binary file to a USB thumb drive. BEWARE, anything that boots from that thumb drive will be immediately wiped, formatted and have a copy of Chinese windows 10 installed.
Using that, see if the keyboard works again.
You might also be better off just sending this thing back. The keyboard should be working without any need of drivers, etc. You can also try installing the updated firmware and drivers from this site. https://techtablets.com/downloads-drivers-roms/
