Oh Yeah! You can try buying it from this dealer, it seem like he claimed he can installed an english version for the tablet too. I hope we can hear a review from you soon 😀
September 13, 2015 at 11:40 pm #11380This one has been out for some time now, the price has put me off and the Tech Tablets coffers can’t support buying it for the review.. Just too much and you could get a Surface Pro 3 for that.
I will be getting the cheaper X2 pro in a week or two.

Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30October 12, 2015 at 1:23 pm #13068I’m also interested in this device. So far no reviews on the internet, only a single video on Youtube.
Anyone got it and can tell us his impressions?
October 12, 2015 at 2:17 pm #13093I’ll not be reviewing this one. Just too much cash wasted on it if I do. But Martin C in the forums does have an X1 Pro, he gave me the drivers dump. Send him a pm?
For that price with a non-laminated screen, I would rather spend a little more and get the Surface 3 Pro base model if I was you. fully laminated screen and a very nice build with that kickstand. Looks like it’s around $650+ on Aliexpress

Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30October 12, 2015 at 9:28 pm #13123Hi Guys,
yes Chris is right, I bourght the X1 instead of the X2, just because of the 4G, I cant see why I should buy a Tablet without 4G support, so stayed away from the X2. I fancy the X1 a lot, did fight a lot after upgrading to windows 10, but got it all working now and made as Chris says a Driver dump for windows 10 on the X1. After I bourght the X1 i havent had my Dell XPS 12 open one single time, its so much easyer and the X1 is snappy. The 4G is fast as hell on LTE network, much faster than my Huawei 4G dongle, Ipad mini and Ipad Air and X16hd (only 3G).
The new M2 mSata disk installed in the X1 is fast and much faster than the regular mSata. It dosent support 5Ghz wireless that I find a bit strange, but could be do to power issues. Normal browsing and text writing gives me at least 10 hours life and movie in mkv format around 6 hours….quite impressive and looks fantastic on a 12,2″ screen.
Could buy a surface 3 for the same amount of money, but once again why should I buy a Tablet without 4G support. Biggest problem I heard with the Surface is battery life, it last around 6 hours on lowest settings and no movie viewing.Lets see how much I fancy the X1 in half a year, but for the time being its my favorite.
October 12, 2015 at 9:36 pm #13125Thanks for that Martin!
The screen size of the X1 pro is very tempting, as I feel I need something between the screen size of an Ipad and my 15″ Dell XPS.
The problem is the price, and I noticed there isn’t a community around it here or on XDA which can tweak or solve problems.
I found a seller who claims to sell a 256GB version with and English version of Windows 10 and Android 5.1 for 639$:
The 128GB versios is 569$.
They answered my emails pretty fast, saying it’s original Teclast product and warranty, has an English OS. Shipping with DHL is only 20$. I’ve never heard about them so I’m very skeptical. They also don’t accept Paypal, as I need some coverage in such situations.
October 12, 2015 at 10:09 pm #13129Whoa, stay well clear of Brotech, they are a scammer site. Many have had issue with them.

Thanks, there are really lots of scam reports all over the internet.
It’s really too expensive for a Chinese tablet, despite the great specs.
October 17, 2015 at 10:23 pm #13461HI,
I ordered an X1 yesterday, should have it delivered by Tuesday. I believe it’s a great device and a good price. The only thing concerning me is the 4gb ram. I haven’t used a laptop with less than 16gb of ram since my HP DV3 in high school running the first 64bit AMD Athlon.
Has anyone opened up their X1, i m planning to add a 500gb ssd and the Intel AC 7260 adapter but wanted to know if anyone tried adding ram. From the pictures they release those two can be changed but I can’t get any information on if there is a ram slot or if the Ram is on board.
Please let me know if its possible.
And if anyone wondering why wouldn’t i just buy a surface pro 3 well primarily because everyone would have one and second even with the upgraded the teclast is cheaper. I paid $600USD with original keyboard and cover http://merimobiles.com/teclast-x1-pro.htm
October 17, 2015 at 11:25 pm #13477Hi Rahu,
The Ram is soldered to the motherboard unless you have some super skills and tools. It’s not upgradable, even if you did manage to change the chips the bios might not even recognise it.

Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30October 18, 2015 at 5:18 pm #13553That’s a very good price actually, do you have any experience with merimobiles? Do they do it with English version of Windows?
Let us know once you get it.
October 20, 2015 at 10:35 am #13722Before buying check the 4G bands supported by the teclast X1 and whether if it is supported in your country?
You can also get a X2 Pro and then add a 4G card to it. Will be cheaper compared to X1 and with added pen support.

The link given by you is for the NON-4G version. That is the reason why it is cheaper compared to the 4G model.
It think it uses a m.2 2242 mSATA SSD. I doubt anyone sells a 2242 SSD above 256GB. Even if they do.. it will be too costly.. guessing somewhere around 200$+ or higher.
