    hi all hi Chris,

I do agree with you : some sites report that GPS is built-in but others say no. GPS status is trying to get GPS position but no success.

If the pb is related with android, it should still work under windows OS. I tried that too but no succes either…

but I also get problems locating through WiFi. i think the tablet try to aktivate gps and stop the wifi location… im not sure
if i try it on windows i get a (wifi)location , on android the apps dont get a location and say i must aktivate gps or gps is searching but nothing found.
if i change manual to wifi (energy saving location) i dont get the location for apps like shpock ..
i wait now for a answare from the saler too but i think about a change in the config files to deaktivate the gps option …

Howdy! Location changer apps offer several benefits to users. Firstly, they provide privacy and security by allowing users to conceal their real location and identity, preventing potential tracking and surveillance. This is especially valuable when accessing location-based services or social media platforms that may collect and misuse personal data. Secondly, these apps enable users to bypass geographically restricted content, such as accessing streaming services or websites limited to specific regions. It expands users’ access to a broader range of online content and services. Lastly, location changer apps can be used for testing and development purposes, allowing developers to simulate various geographic locations and test their applications or services in different environments.

    Hi!

It looks like you’re having trouble activating GPS after rooting your device. Sometimes these things can be related to Android settings, especially if access to system functions was changed during the rooting process.

Maybe you should check if any third-party apps or changes in settings are blocking access to GPS? You can try resetting location settings or checking if all necessary permissions for GPS to work are enabled in settings. Also, sometimes rebooting the device or clearing the cache helps.

If you are developing your own application using GPS, you may be interested in learning how to properly integrate navigation functions. In this case, you should check out the navigation app development guide presented on navigation app development. There you will find useful information on how to build quality navigation solutions for mobile applications.

I hope this helps solve the problem or gives you ideas for further steps!
