Hello,
Starting with last week I have the following problem with my tablet: I plug the charger and leave it to charge as normal, but it gets stuck at a random charging level, even though the charging level displayed is 100% (with the charger plugged). As soon as I take out the charger, the level drops(for example, this morning it was stuck at 58%) showing the real charging level. This happens on Android OS.
The same behavior manifests on Windows 10 also – the charging plug is connected but the battery is not charging.
As I said before, the charging level is random, the fist time was stuck at 68%, then 85% and now at 56%-58%.I have tried until now 3 different chargers – my phone charger, a powerbank and the usb port from my pc – nothing changed, same behavior.
Is this a software limitation or a hardware defect? Has anyone encountered this issue before and is there any solution for it?October 20, 2016 at 10:16 am #55247Hi
I also have a kindow from aliexpress and during my first week it displays the same crazy phenomena aka battery going down fast while charging.
In my case I used a samsung Note 4 2amp Fast charger as well as a QC 2.0 Aukey fast charger (the orange port). Result is the same, battery goes down even with these quality chargers.
I personally have not received an official charger from Teclast in the box, but my doubts are telling me that either this tablet needs a 3amp fast charger for its needs or that it is a cheap piece of crap in this particular department.
It is curious that the website reviewer missed on this alarming side of tablet.
I’d love for Kindow owners to participate in this thread as it is pretty much the only one on google so far that addresses this issue.
April 15, 2017 at 3:08 pm #65387I have teblet with the charger (charger SONY tested and BlitzWolf). If I’m in windows 10, charging prematurely switched off (from 50 to 85 percent). Disconnecting and connecting the charging does not start again.
But just to restart immediately after vačtení logo Teclast charging begins.
On Android, this problem does not happen.April 30, 2017 at 5:43 pm #66316Has anyone managed to update the version of Windows supplied without running into the ‘always on’ issue caused by the touchscreen driver ?
