Teclast X98 Air 3G Touchscreen Problems

Hi,

I hope someone can help me out here.  The teclast’s touchscreen has stopped responding to touch on Android.  I manage to boot into windows and the screen seems to work fine.  I cannot get pass the password screen as I gave this tablet to a relative and I guess she has been using it as an android tablet only and has forgotten the password.  Two questions here, is it possible to revive the screen under android and how to bypass window’s password?   Any help greatly appreciated.

I have searched through these forums and have come across a tutorial from TechKnight which offered a solution to my problem.  Unfortunately the download link is no longer working.

Does anybody has the boot image archive?  The file name is as follows:

Hi!

I have the same problem with the touchscreen (it doesn’t respond at all) but only in Windows, not in Android.

I’ve tried calibration, hard reset in factory settings, reinstalling all the drivers but nothing helped. At the moment HID – compliant touchscreen is missing from Device Manager and I don’t know how to reinstall it.

Please, someone help.
