ThanksApril 3, 2016 at 2:18 am #31778Hi all
I have the x89 Air II which after killing the android side and installing win 10 all was good except for no camera, that is when trying the camera I get the oops something is wrong screen
I tried every hint tip solution here and all over the web to no avail. I have downloaded all available sets of drivers from all sources, including win 8.1 and win 10 drivers which I put on a pen drive and attached to tablet. Finally I had a look at the drivers and see the main imaging device is an intel av stream etc. reading somewhere on the net that any streaming driver is made for pre win 7 devices I decided to do the following.
open device manager, delete the Intel driver under imaging device, under system delete both camera sensor drivers
Next use the add legacy device manager in pop up go to “sound, video, audio section” select from list Microsoft, from further drop down select “streaming device discovery” Note ( do NOT use stream device discovery driver) install . This replaces the Intel av driver with a Microsoft one . Then use the “scan for hardware changes” to re-add the latest drivers for the camera sensors, worked for me
You do need all the drivers as I can’t tell which set had the Microsoft one
Cheers hope it works for all
