If you just want Android no. Air III isn’t bad as an Android tablet and you can install Mirek190’s Air II roms. On the other hand if you want better battery life and dual OS. The X98 Plus might be worth it. I’ve only reviewed the Windows X98 Plus version and it was good, if a little underpowered for gaming.

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30January 18, 2016 at 3:23 pm #22846Hi Chris,
Thanks a lot for your quick reply! I will think about it again. One other question though: Is there a difference between internal storage (system storage) on the Android side between the two devices? I am just asking because I know from other Android devices that sometimes internal storage is limited e.g. to 2GB. I am referring to the Android “system partition” for installing apps – which (sometimes) cannot be moved to SD.
Cheers,
Flo
January 18, 2016 at 6:55 pm #22905….the newly released Teclast X98 Plus Dual OS (http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_286366.html) which will cost me 186,77 + 42,02 taxes = 228,79. I live in Europe, so import taxes are quite high
Most Chinese shops will report a lower value on the box in order to skip the import taxes. I think geekbuying and banggood do it anyway, in other stores you might have to request it.
January 19, 2016 at 9:38 am #22961Good idea, thanks! I will check with geekbuying what value they report on the package.
January 21, 2016 at 9:31 am #23207I had the same situation…
Today I decided to order the x98 Air III from Gearbest Europe store for aprox. €130 – no tax problems!
If it turns out that the performance is not good enough, you can sell this tablet for even more than this €130 on ebay in Europe…
Just my 2 cents
