I found this over the internet for the wifi issue: http://www.express.co.uk/life-style/science-technology/596214/Windows-10-How-To-Fix-Broken-Wifi-Not-Showing-Unavailable-Drivers-Free-Upgrade
Maybe it can help.
Hello ALex, just setup your change and the wifi seems to work better now.. nice..
I change the bLeisurePs value in 2 folders within 001.
August 4, 2016 at 1:34 am #45537Nice find. Can anyone else confirm this and show some before and after speedtest results? It seems like the wifi issue is made worse by covering the corner with the antenna, so a controlled test would be helpful to make sure that setting is actually helping.
August 4, 2016 at 1:49 am #45538For me, since i change the bLeisurePs parameter, no more connection lost on my tablet.
My router is at the 1st floor and i use the tablet at the ground floor.
Before this change, i used to face connection lost of the wifi many time.
Now it works fine for me.
August 4, 2016 at 9:55 am #45567“Problem” solved, back in bussiness

The problem was my Hackintosh(Yosemite) so I plugged it into my chromebook (thought I had done that before
, but no) and the device is recognized. So rooted again, everything working well
August 4, 2016 at 11:57 am #45591Can you explain, how you root the tablet?
August 5, 2016 at 9:57 am #45690First check if you have the original Driver version 3008.28.201.2016 date 22.02.2016 installed
There is newer WiFi driver Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN Driver 3008.33.430.2016 for Windows 10 64-bit (31.05.2016) found here
Unpacked cab-file, then updated driver as usual, WiFi seems working OK
August 5, 2016 at 1:17 pm #45714Is there a similar fix for the wifi in android?

Same question, I have tried many methods, none have worked.
August 5, 2016 at 10:22 pm #45792Hi Alex, with the update of the drivr, do we still need to change the bLeisurePs parameter?
August 6, 2016 at 3:40 am #45824The wifi is fine under windows 10.
My kids complain about the wifi under android. You are right Andrew.
It seems that the fix is working good under windows but not under android… Any idea to fix the wifi drop under android?
Thanks!
August 6, 2016 at 7:49 am #45843For me x98 Plus II is better than first edition.
+ it’s been one week I use it everyday for 3D games, video, apps for hours. No any single crash on windows and android. I found it crash randomly on first edition.
+ D/C charging when using keyboard/mouse.
+ it detect my Samsung 64GB microSDXC UHS-1 EVO plus. the First edition did not detect this.
+ Better design
+ easy to fresh install Windows OS, no need touchsetting.gt file.– Wifi issue, but it’s acceptable. for windows, update new driver solve the problem.
Maybe I have a fautly product on first edition.

Have you tried turning off the wifi powersaving features in android? Someone made a post earlier that idicated tha wifi worked better in Windows when wifi sleep was turned off. Might be worth a try at least.
August 6, 2016 at 8:54 am #45850Hi Alex, with the update of the drivr, do we still need to change the bLeisurePs parameter?
Haven´t tried that yet. But I found out, that a switch from 20_40mHz to only 20mHz slows down the performance but stabilize the connection.

Also keep an eye on this.
August 6, 2016 at 12:07 pm #45880The new driver and bLeisurePs parameter didnt solve anything for me, maybe more stable, but on speed test and youtube wifi is still too slow.
