Hi,
been lookinng at the 8gb x16 power – mainly for the the Windows side of things…I’ve not seen a detailed review of the power but saw Chris’ refiew of the 4gb pro giving it a 7. The main thing I picked up from the review was that the thermals might be a problem and throttling the cpu would be the result.
So, are there any folks on the forum with the Power that would recommend the purchase and are happy with the tablet or is anyone having doubts over the hardware, software or build quality?!
Comments and feedback appreciated 🙂

I have the X16 Pro and I haven’t had any of the heating and throttling issues Cris mentioned.
I have been using mine each day for hours on end since December 1st as my laptop died the day before I received mine.
I don’t consider myself a “power” user, but, when I’m on, I’m on. IMO the heating and overall throttling is based on individual usage. Even when I game in Windows (CSR Racing) it doesn’t get any hotter than (Airborne 8) Android.
NOTE;
I am not saying that there isn’t a change in temperature, NO, but, what I’m saying is that its not hot to the touch, warm at best and I haven’t experienced any performance issues as a result.
I also only use in battery saver mode regardless of the OS I’m using!
December 19, 2015 at 7:47 pm #19232I have the X16 Power since yesterday and i can say that it doesn’t get really hot. While running some benchmarks (on Windows) sometimes CPU gets throttled a bit, but this doesn’t make performance lower. Maximum CPU Temp has been set to 85C, that’s a bit low for a mobile CPU. If we manage to set it to 90C or even better 95C it would be great.

I’m currently looking for a windows 10 tablet (Gaming, writting, etc…) that can dual boot Android. I saw on the teclast’s x2 pro review that it was not a dual boot, but just an Android emulator. Ils this the case with x16 power ?
And another thing : the 64Go eMMC can be replaced, but how do we keep the dual boot in case the storage device is replaced ? Because i think 64Go will be too small for me
The cube i7 stylus is also a good option but it doesn’t have Android on it.
Wich one of the cube i7 stylus, X16 Power, X2 pro would be best for gaming ? I will also use it a lot to make games (Unity 3D, visual studio, photoshop…)
Thanks 🙂
