    so i’m wondering… all the new cherry trail tablets are coming out as windows 10 only. there is only the x98 pro with cherry trail and dual boot.

    that seems worrying to me… it’s not like the technology isn’t there, proof is in the x98 pro… so there must be another reason and i don’t think it has to do with rushing out products, i fear it might be some kind of deal with microsoft to kill off dual boot in return of discounted/free licenses (or even something like contra revenue, who knows?)

    it would be interesting if somebody who has acquaintances in the chinese tablet maker industry would ask some question as to why cherry trails are win10 only…

    My guess is they don’t have a stable Android rom yet, so they just push it out without Android and later offer it these tablets as a download or released Dual OS. The Onda 820w CH X5 Z8300 I got is Windows only for now, but the bios is clearly dual boot backing up this theory of mine.

    core m will never have dual boot because intel does not support android on core m cpus

    Never say never 🙂 The Onda V919 Core M has dual boot, shame the tablet has so many issues.

    I guess Android runs inside a virtual machine in Windows.. It is not real dual boot
