    It isn’t needed imo, the tablet has got decent cooling, where the back of the CPU cooler is directly touching the large aluminum case, which acts like a giant heat spreader. From the tests Chris ran, no thermal throttling was applied, no matter how hard it was pushed.

    mine when playing to requesting games reaches 83° C.

    specs indicate max 90° C for this soc and i would like to prevent bios chip frying.

    i think applying copper heat sink/thermal pad and a good thermal paste would solve these high temps.

    What I've used and what I've got:
    TECLAST X98 AIR 3G, TECLAST X98 AIR II, TECLAST X98 PRO,CHUWI HI8, CHUWI HI12, CUBE I9
