    If I recall correctly it’s 0.5mm the one they used on the CPU and 1mm on top. Personally if I could I would use some good thermal paste on the CPU and aluminium spreader. Some more info here: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/how-to-upgrade-the-ssd-in-the-cube-i7-stylus-video-and-pics/

    Hi Chris.

    I couln’t find much about putting thermal paste in that thread, but would you think it would transfer more heat than a thermal pad? You say you used a 0,5mm pad on the cpu, feels like you should need quite a bit of paste to make up for that space?
