Yes, there are ways how to share a microSD card between Android and Windows (root or partitioning).
But they’re both tricky, unoptimal, with consequences. And maybe you need even more space…
So how about those ultra tiny USB 3.0 flashdrives?

How fast they are? (compared to fast microSD)
How tiny are they in reality? How big part of them remains outside the tablet’s body?
Are there any other options than Samsing Fit and SanDisk UltraFIT?
Are there differences (in dimensions and speed) between 32, 64 and 128 GB versions? Because in this case I’d probably prefer smaller formfactor over the capacity…
I don’t need an ergonomic shape of the flashdrive because I plan to leave it inside the tablet forever (because I plan to install applications on it – I”d rather leave the whole eMMC space to the operating system, we all know the ability of Windows to grow).
So any experience with these? Or recommendation for other/better?

Related problem: how about swapfile, hyberfile? And how about readyboost? The idea is to have swap and hyber on SD card and readybost on flashdrive (or vice versa). Would it improve the performance? My experience with weak Atom laptops (with slow harddrives) is that it helps a lot to have a fast SD card in the laptop’s cardreader for readyboost caching…. But question is whether it makes any sense with eMMC.
