So I’ve been on this site for a while(thank you Chris!) looking for the right tablet for me but I just can’t find it. So I thought I’d turn to the forum for help. The ideal tablet for me would have been a Surface, but they are way to expensive for me. These are my requriments:
Enough performance for coding in eclipse, typing documents, surfing the web without to much lag. Also I think at least 4gb ram is required for running Windows and some programs.
Battery life to do the above things in at least 4 hours before having to charge it.
Storage is not that important if it’s possible to upgrade it by myself. If it’s not upgradable I should need a 128gb at least.
Having a “type-cover” dock/keyboard/cover thingy. I was about to my the Teclast x98 the other day but I couldn’t find a keyboard dock with a touchpad. This is essential, I must have a touchpad so I can use this thing when I’m on the bus and stuff like that.
Screen that is at least 9″ but preferrebly, 10-11″. Also the resolution should be at least 1920×1080. I’ve seen som displays that have better, but as I have bad eyesight I must keep things relative big. I fear that a higer resolution say 1440 might make things to small for me on such a small screen but it could work, scaling is perhaps better in Windows 10?
And the device should run Windows, which version doesn’t matter. I have a couple of licenses of my own anyway.
Price, I think I could go up to as much as 400 euro(about 450 dollar) but I would hope to get away cheaper prefferebly around 300 euro(335 dollar).
If the device overheats or stuff like that, it’s fine, I would love to mod it. 🙂
