I’m building a research bot, but it keeps losing the thread of the investigation once we get deep into specific papers. It’s frustrating because I have to feed it the same core data over and over again to keep it on track. What’s the most efficient way to give an agent a long-term brain?

Standard RAG is often too clunky for maintaining simple continuity between different user sessions. I’ve found that adding Persistent memory for AI agents directly into the logic flow helps the bot maintain a perfect record of its past discoveries without clogging up the context window. It makes the whole research process much more efficient since you aren’t wasting tokens on re-explaining things the bot should already know. This is definitely the future for anyone building serious autonomous workflows.
