I tried to work it out with GearBest Tech Service.

    They offered to:

    1. Have me ship it back to China for a return ($30-40 at my expense)
    2. Credit me $15
    3. Ship me another for $180

I guess the problem with cheap and China is no one to talk to when indeed you have a problem.

Unless they make good on it, it will be the last time I order anything of substance from Chinese Companies.

    Cheap is Expensive!

According to Tmobile, in theory it should work on 2G and 3G.

A very skilled tech who I have gone to could not solve it.

We put in 2 sims, booted it from windows and android, and then resorted to wiping the machine with a hard reset.

The machine would still nor read the card.

if it read the card it would say no signal.

What bothers me the most is no company tech support.

They want ME to send it back on MY nickle.

The whole thing is very tiresome and unprofessional.

Besides that, I REALLY like the machine.

It is just not what I paid for as I wanted to use it on the road….

Why would they make you pay for it on the way back? I know it says that on the warranty page but shipping for me was free, is it just not free on the way back and that’s a way to jab you? And I’ll talk to t-mobile later and see what they say

Have you been able to find a solution or even tech support?

    Are we SOL?

    Can’t be used on T-Mobile US. T-Mobile uses 1900  for 2G and 1900 for 3G.

    This tablet 2G 900, 1800; 3G 900, 2100.

Can you tell me how I can find a service or application that will provide me with a temporary phone number to receive SMS messages? I need this for a one-time registration confirmation on the site, and I would like to ensure that it is secure and will not affect my personal information.

Of course, you can use special online services that provide a temporary phone number for receiving SMS. Such services are convenient when you don’t want to give out your real number. Just go to one of these sites, here’s the URL, pick a number, and use it to verify. After receiving the SMS, you will see your confirmation code on the website. Just be careful and choose trusted sites to avoid scams.

Verizon Wireless provides uninterrupted connectivity which is a big plus. Also, verizon offers great plans and the best mobile devices at competitive prices, allowing users to save money. To get started, you can first check out Verizon Wireless reviews or call their customer service where their knowledgeable staff will be ready to help you.

I had a similar experience once — I put my T-Mobile SIM into a new device, and it wouldn’t connect either. It felt like when I had to verify federal documents for travel and needed them accepted abroad. I used expedited apostille services to get a federal apostille, which proved my documents were real so another country would accept them. Sometimes, like with those documents, compatibility just depends on proper verification — maybe the device needs to be unlocked or set to the right network bands for T-Mobile.
