Top of the screen doesn't register touch

and it is only one side of the screen? like if u rotate 180 it doesn’t register the soft keys/bottom of the screen?

Any update on this?  All i would suggest, if you comfortable doing it,  would be to try to unplug the digitizer and plug it back it.  Ifyou open up the chuwi hi8pro,  it should be a large ribbon cable on the bottom, but if u didnt think up that answer or never have done it before,  the chuwi may not be a forgiving peice of hardware to learn on,  or,  cuz its alrdy half baked, it maybe a great idea to use it as a Frankenstein tablet. Its alive! Its alive!!!

I don’t have tools to crack it open unfortunately, but it’s not too bad I can use gesture to pull down notify center

Yesterday, when the tablet was low on power, the top went berserk, I could see several touches (thanked to Show Touches) at the same time and somehow that let me use the top again which means the problem was fixed, I also heard a strange tune coming from the tablet, repeated every minute (?) (I made sure it wasn’t from any apps I have installed)… and then after charging it fully, the problem came back.
