I need to update my old driveway, which is over 10 years old. I’m wondering if I can just partially replace the surface or if I should completely redo it. There are many similar houses in Ajax, so maybe someone has gone through this before. Which option was more cost-effective and resulted in a better outcome?

At first, I just wanted to patch up the old driveway. But after consulting with https://oakshs.ca/ajax-interlocking-services/, I realized the base was in dire need of a complete overhaul. Ultimately, we completely tore it down and rebuilt everything, covering about 100 square meters. We reinforced the base with crushed stone, and then began laying the stone. It took about a week, but the difference was dramatic. Now the car sits level and there’s no distortion. This solution turned out to be much more sensible than a temporary repair.
