Today i open the tablet and i take some pictures of it:

Also i notice a spark sound from electronics, listen here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18602178/Cube/Cube%20i7%20book%20noise.mp3 (In top of heatsink, don’t know if is normal, this sound is always live, with or without charger, if i suspend the tablet sound go off, when charging sound is a bit louder)

My touch problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sn-qpFol5rE (Sorry for messed up framerate, my smartphone have a problem with camera)

You have ghost touches and the noise is really strange and scary. Is that common for this device?

Same here. When the battery is full charging current finds its way to mess with the touchscreen. Isolating the outer ring with a piece of plastic may worth a try. I have not been able to figure this out myself, any inputs appreciated. BTW when the batteries are full AND the charger is connected you can feel the 50HZ with your fingertips when touching the metal parts. HOW IS THAT?!?!

Noise is not audible when you are at normal distances and close device. You need to put your hear near the place to be able to hear. Note that i have boosted the mic a lot and cut the background noise.

Isolating will not worth and you will mess with the table and maybe invalidate a warranty. I have tryed to put more force on motherboard screws – same happen. I have also try the reverse, soft the screws and it help a little but not that much

I hope my device doesn’t have that… anyway… as soon customs decide to release my EMS, they are holding it until someone appears to apply the taxes, I’ll get back to you.

When you can test it and report.

I contact the seller and they ask me for a replacement and return this one

Today i notice another issue that i think is related to charger but is not…

Plugged or not plugged sometimes touchscreen act like right click press on a spot and we can’t scroll a webpage for example. When touching somewhere the context menu appear.

Other problem i notice is when i put the tablet in a table, hold in horizontal, it act like been detach from a Keyboard and ask if i like to change to tablet mode. I only see issues with the tablet, i go return it 🙁

Mine had the same issue, but using a grounded power suplly did the trick. Some say using a copper wire to ground the one supplied can aslo work, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Thats bad… Even cheap tables should not have that issues, that can be fixed with a proper PCB design

No such problem with my tablet using the supplied 2 amp power lead. It’s not even earthed as it’s a 2-pin plug. This is in the UK where the mains power is possibly well regulated.
