Touch screen replacement doesn't work

For Chuwi Vi10 I broke and replaced digitizer with correct cable and correct cable number. All attached correctly and firmly. Only minor area of Touch screen appears to be working but even that is not precise. Even main windows button doesn’t work and that should certainly work.

What comes to my mind is that It appears I forgot to peel off protection film from back side of digitizer (facing ips screen :)) but I doubt that could be causing problems. Cable was also slightly attached to screen digitizer glue during installation but again I doubt it to be cause of anything.

Android touchscreen also doesn’t work, so I suspect it to be hardware error ???

Any ideas ?

I tried to reinstall windows 8.1 from image on this site and error occurs during script execution specifically:

Does the digitizer look identical to the one you removed? It’s just that Chuwi use at least 3 different versions.

It could be that you’ve either got the wrong screen, what you were sent is defective or you need to use some compressed air on the ribbon connector.

it’s correct all right.

Tocuh screen problem is same as other described. I have difficulties installing win 8.1 from this site.

in chuwi forum is too big for download, can some1 upload smaller files ?

Windows from offical chuwi forum work with all drivers. Problem is not solved however.

Connenctor looks ok also. Probably faulty digitizer than.

if you cant get it to work, would you want to sell me your vi10? else, I have a vi10 that has a 100% screen, but I killed the main board 🙁 if you would like to buy dead board tablet off me
