I’ve spent my first day using the W1S to do work and have some observations:

Sometimes the touchscreen wakes up ‘wrong’ – it seems to mirror my touches across the horizontal middle of the screen so if I touch near the bottom it appears to touch near the top. Locking the screen makes it go away sometimes.

The touchpad and keyboard are awful – like typing on broken Lego. The pad is very good at picking up brushes or slight breezes but if you try and get it to do something it might ignore you. The ‘disable touchpad’ button is a godsend but then your typing speed will show up how bad the keyboard is, if you’re not retyping things due to touchpad brushing.

Is it possible to enable function lock on this keyboard?

I’ve been trying to use a bluetooth Microsoft Arc mouse and it detected and connected fine, but the connection just seems to go away if I touch the touchpad or press the ‘disable touchpad’ button. I might see if the batteries on the mouse are strong enough.

    Screen is gorgeous though.

Charger is a fire waiting to happen. Performance is ok so far. Built of tablet is fine, keyboard much less so.

Small update. I’ve also found that (re)enabling tablet mode can make the touchscreen behave again. I’ve looked at other threads and there doesn’t seem to be a touchsetting.gt file anywhere on the W1S.
