If possible could someone extract the driver for the trackpad and send it to me?

Or if someone solved this in another fashion, then post that.

I’m pretty sure that the trackpad is detected as a generic HID mouse with no special driver – features such as gestures are handled in hardware. Try right-clicking and uninstalling the device with the expression mark, disconnecting the keyboard dock and reconnecting it again – if it still doesn’t work it’s very likely a hardware error in the keyboard dock or tablet connector.

I might be wrong, will look if there’s a driver later today.

Chris extracted all the drivers and put them in a downloadable archive on this website. There is no specific driver for the trackapd though. Try the advice from Ahrlad and if it does not work then it come from the hardware in the keyboard.

Oh wait : I guess you checked but the trackpad can be disabled : do you have a red light above the F3/F4 keys ? If yes, press the key between the right ALT and CTRL

    I don’t think it’s a hardware issue though it’s still possible

The trackpad disable light comes on and off but the trackpad doesn’t work.

Right clicking on the desktop doesn’t do anything either.

But a driver does show up so it’s detected.

I think the cause is doing a fresh installation of windows 10, but not sure how to solve that problem (didn’t make a backup unfortunately).

I did a fresh install (2 in fact) as well and the trackpad worked instantly without any drivers or action from me …
