Trying to make a purchase from Gearbest but Visa suspects fraud

I was trying to make a purchase at Gearbest but VISA declined the transection with the reason of suspecting fraud

Has Gearbest been reported with fraudulence before?

Oh look I got a text from my bank when I made a purchase of aliexpress asking to confirm if I had made the purchase.

I think it is more banks being paranoid.

I mean I think it’s possible people use credit cards to buy things online rather than the site itself being fraudulant.

Plus : Ask yourself – how often are you buying hundreds of dollars worth of items probably in foreign currency from international suppliers?

Just ring up your credit provider/bank and have a complaining session.
