Try this:
1.Install dpinst32.exe (Run as administrator),then reboot
2.Put icnfirmware.sys and MYI2C.sys on c:/Windows/system32/drivers and reboot
3.Normally it is okay. If it is not, go on device manager, select myi2c, update, search on computer, choose from pilots on my computer, then disc, browse and select the myi2c.sys and let it install and reboot
December 13, 2015 at 9:19 pm #18490WOODY, i think you have the old hardware so it is normal
December 13, 2015 at 9:24 pm #18491you must install those drivers
December 13, 2015 at 9:30 pm #18492John, i am so glad that i could help!!!! I am really satisfied!!
December 13, 2015 at 10:37 pm #18498Woody, i tell that you must use images because i2c drivers are just a pain in the ass to install, they make tablet freeze. So you have to use windows 8.1 images, and then we will see. Plus i think you have the old version, so you won’t even have to install any drivers. The driver pack i made was only few drivers for the new version, in complement of the one already installed on windows images!
December 14, 2015 at 7:55 am #18528I have installed a clean version of W10, donwloaded from the Microsoft Website. WiFi works , but touch, audio… are missing. And I cant installed touch like I did with the update of W10. Furthermore, it freezes during the installation of some drivers, so actually I cannot start Windows 10.
I am going to try again using this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnaQq3ZpswU
If i have the same problems I will install Frederic’s image of W 10. I assume this image is in Chinese.
December 14, 2015 at 10:29 am #18548John,follow exactly my tutorial, Oscar succeeded to install it as I say, everything working. Image is in English some don’t worry. Let me explain :the you can’t install i2c drivers, because it makes tablet freeze. But i2c drivers make work the touchscreen sound and everything so it is a dilema, and i solve this dilema with my tutorial that works 100%
December 14, 2015 at 10:36 am #18553nothing will work john i tried it and it wont you must downgrade your bios to J1D if you are not already on then. next you must download the windows 10 image (big file).Next your going to want to extract the .rar file and then copy the files that are inside the win-10 folder and put them on your USB root. Once that is done rename the usb to WINPE after that you are set. turn off your tablet and hit escape key if you dont have a keyboard you can hold down power and volume up button. once you are on the boot menu go over to “boot from file” and select your usb, hit enter and let it do its thing it will take a while so dont worry. the first boot will take a long time as well. after the reboot you will have everything installed except touch and audio install the file provided by Frédéric in the second post and Install dpinst32.exe,then reboot. Put icnfirmware.sys and MYI2C.sys on c:/Windows/system32/drivers and reboot u should have touch now. i am running windows 10 with everything working s/n G221510xxxxx thanks to Frédéric thanks =D
December 14, 2015 at 11:00 am #18558Thanks Oscar to approve my method!
Let me explain shortly the WHY I wrote this tutorial :
Install a clean windows install will lead you to install drivers. BUT you can’t install i2c drivers. And almost everything in the tablet are based on the i2c (i2c is like to connect the hardware together, and detect it). This is why you have to install a windows image, where the i2c drivers and most drivers already installed. The drivers pack I made IS ONLY in complement of the drivers already installed on the image. So follow my tutorial and you will have a clean tablet!!!
December 14, 2015 at 1:33 pm #18572I am doing something wrong…
I cannot see the usb in the boot menu
Edit: Ok, with another pendrive seems that it works. It is now installing. I will keep you inform.
December 14, 2015 at 1:46 pm #18575GOOD!!
December 14, 2015 at 2:38 pm #18579The touch works with this image. Where did you find it?
I have to configured the languague and install some updates. Up to now everything go well.
Thank you again.
