Hey friends! Litlle tutorial on how to install Windows 10 only on Teclast TBooK 10. Really nothing complicated, but i confirm it is possible and you won’t get in any kind of trouble.

First why i wanted a fresh Windows install? Simple: I don’t want Android, and more importantly i noticed the Windows 10 they put is buggy, kind of laggy, WiFi issues with my livebox, plus it is not fully in French even with language pack.

    You will need

    -Teclast TBooK 10

    -USB Flash Drive

-Docking keyboard or keyboard and mouse, with at least a 3 ports USB hub and an OTG cable

    How to:

    1. You will need to make a bootable USB drive of Windows 10 64bits (with Microsoft’s Mediacreationtool). I personally used Rufus because i already had the iso file (make sure you select uefi only compatible).
    2. Boot tablet in BIOS (or UEFI I should say??) by pressing ESC , then boot manager, then select your flash drive. If you configure it correctly with rufus, you should see it.
    3. Windows installation begins, simply delete all the partition to have only one big fat one and you are good to go!
    4. That’s it! Basically you’ll need the drivers, i basically made my own backup with DoubleDriver before that and and I reinstall them with no issues. Very nice.

I really prefer to make a fresh install of Windows 10. In my opinion it’s the best, you should too

    no need for a license, windows activated itself, otherwise ksm pico gets the job done. I simply made my own backup with double driver before reinstalling windows, so you can do the same. It works great;

    Hello,

May be you can save me 🙂 because my Tbook10 does not boot on windows (black screen with backlight on blinking).

Could you send me a detailed explanation in French? (with links, soft to be used and so on..) I’m a novice user and it seems you are French…

It would be great if you can do something for me.

    Have a nice day!

    Hello,

Furthermore, my Tbook 10 never worked with windows, so where can I find the necessaries drivers?

    Thank you,

How is this a tutorial. What exactly are the settings for Rufus? MBR for UEFI or GPT? Does label need to be winpe? File system Fat32 or ntfs?

Hi. I reached the point were the drives are shown to install windows on. However there is only one drive/partition which has just 7.2GB on it – so windows will not install on it. Any ideas?

Hey Michael that’s really wierd, normally you should see a bunch of partitions , format them all so there is only one fat 64gb one. If you only have one there is a problem, mind making a screesnhot?

Hi, I managed to reinstall windows on my tablet like you described, the only issue I’m having now is that the wireless adapter doesn’t seem to be detected by windows 10. Not in device manager and scan hardware doesn’t bring it up. Did you/anyone else, face a problem similar to this?
