Hi, undervolting will lower temps, increase performance too even. Give it a go, other Core M3 tablets like the Surface Pro 4 don’t have this issue as they have more premium design. Cube when a bit cheap not including a thermal pad in between the heatsink and real metal body.

    Hi Chris,

I saw your thermal mod and it’s something I’d like to do as well if I’d buy one. I’m only wondering how hot the body gets when doing not the most CPU intensive tasks. I understand that benchmarking will put the temperatures to max, but most people won’t be doing that 24/7 :). So the Surface Pro 4’s M3 CPU doesn’t get as hot, but what about its body?

Btw, any idea when you’ll release your Cube Mix Plus review? I’m not sure yet if the higher price is worth it for me.
