I previously had an Onda v975w and its BIOS had A LOT of settings to play with (quite risky). I was quite dissapointed when I found that the x98 Plus has a pretty ridiculous set of settings: Date&Time, Quiet boot and boot order.
As I have been playing with different OTG+charger cables and I am -as some of you- getting quite strange behaviours with the original cable, I was wondering if it could be something disabled thru some BIOS setting. I’m proposing this beacuse I came across with some combination (I can’t remember) which kept OTG and charging at the same time for a couple of seconds (then the OTG was deactivated). Very strange to be just that they didn’t put the right diodes on the board.
Or perhaps they disabled it on purpose because it may lead to some burnt component… I don’t know
Well, the question now is: Is the full BIOS settings something that could be “open” by some key/password combination (as in Medion computers, for example) or should be open thru a UEFI dissambly and hex editor to patch some conditional jump? Any previous experience about this with other Teclast product?
