https://mega.nz/#!ackBGaiQ!r6RK3p9Wu5TSYdRYop537r8ADuGzw3XFaIpYeU82YuE In the archive there is TOUCH folder, in it icncfirmware.sys

Hi Frédéric thanks for the file i managed to restore this driver and now windos states that i have an touchscreen with 10 touch points. But still no response to touch. Could it have something to do with the downgrade of the bios i did? because before that downgrade my touchscreen was working. With other words is it safe to upgrade the bios to the newer version again?

    My serial number is 221508

I found the issue. When I upgraded the bios tot the newer version my touchscreen works.

Frederic many thanks for all the support!

Hello, I do all the tutorial. I Install all the drivers in safe mode then restart in safemode but when I disable safemode windows does not start again.

All the drivers of the Chuwi Hi8 must be installed with double driver? Or Maybe some of them will not? My chuwi Vi10 is G221509

    Thanks.

Edit: I install all the drivers except the i2c controller and then the tablet works fine. Where can I found other i2c controller don´t crash my tab?

Carlos, i had this problem with 8.1 (disabling safemode and then bootloop), but nor in windows 10. I2C drivers are crucial, and seems to work on the other guys here…

Hey Frederic! Thanks for this… I was fighting a friend’s device till late night and only found your post this morning. Now here is the weird thing. I managed to get this to work at a certain point. The touch screen was working so I was already happy and decided to do a complete clean installation of windows 10 pro following the same method with the drivers. However, now most of the drivers are installed but the I2C driver isn’t able to start and the touch screen isn’t working. I’ve tried copying the icnfirmware to system32 and I still can’t get the touch screen to work. I’m going nuts because it was working earlier. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!

P.S. -> I did use a different windows 10 ISO. A completely clean, untouched one of build 10586.

AHHH! I finally got it working again! I used the MYI2C drivers from your “ultimate pack genesis” and copied both myi2c.sys and icnfirmware.sys files to the windows drivers folder! earlier I just tried to copy the icnfirmware file. THANKS!

Hello. I just made a clear installation of windows. After that I went to safe mode to install the drivers. I manage to install almost all of the drivers, the one that I couldn’t was the broadcom wireless – “failed install”. Any idea what can be the cause of this failure? After checking my BIOS, I found out that I am with a Raeltek wireless chip. Even after installing the raeltek drivers, the wifi is not working. I got a chuwi from the 221509 series.

Please help, I was able to install Windows 10 just fine, but I couldn’t install driver for

Intel Atom Processor I2C Controller

correctly, nor the touch drivers, no matter what I tried, the Intel I2C drivers would make the tablet bootloop everytime 🙁

I reformatted, and installed Windows 10 again, but no luck with drivers or HOW to install them.

Si I had the great idea of flshing the Old Bios, and now I can’t reformat Windows anymore, because I can’t even get into the Bios to start my image of Windows 10 or anything at all 🙁

    Did I brick my tablet?

Hello Fréderic. I tried your method and It doesn’t work for me. My version is the 221511… 64 gb. I did everything step by step and when I reboot i have problems with the MYI2C and 2 other unkwon devices. I have to say that when I updated to windows 10 from windows 8.1 with my tablet, everything worked perfect… but i wanted a clean installation so… I screw up! I thought It will be easy.

    Thank you.

Ok, I don’t really know what I did, but Today everything it’s working except for the front camera, I tried everything this afternoon. The last thing I remember I did was doing a touch calibration in windows if it helps… so estrange, the mistery of computers I guess.

I was able to flash the old bios, and re-install a fresh copy of Windows 10, and I was able to use double-driver from within safe mode in windows using the drivers mentiones here for the Hi8 model… the other drivers for windows 10 from the download section don’t work with double-driver….

Anyways, no matter what I do, I can’t install the touch drivers correctly, and they are all related to each other with the I2C intel drivers that crash and bootloop my PC if I install the wrong ones…

I think you already tried this… but. Step by Step: Clean installation of windows 10 > Safe mode and install all the drivers, including the ultimate pack genesis https://mega.nz/#!ackBGaiQ!r6RK3p9Wu5TSYdRYop537r8ADuGzw3XFaIpYeU82YuE (one by one or using DD) > Reboot > Copy icnfirmware.sys and MYI2C.sys to C:windows/system 32/drivers > Reboot > do a touch calibration in windows. And if your lucky, it’s done.
