    Finally managed to get into Recovery mode (still don’t know how;I just kept playing with power and volume buttons!) then Command Prompt; ran rstrui.exe and restored to a restore point I had luckily made before updating drivers! back working fine now; hope my post helps someone: DON’T update the touch screen drivers!?
