Yes managed to do it last night.
Downloaded to a USB stick and created a bootable drive from the iso with Rufus (http://rufus.akeo.ie/), pointed the installer towards my micro SD card and then after the first stage of install (purple screen) unplugged the USB on the orange screen and plugged into power and left for a few hours as seemed to be slow on the orange screen.
Been working well today, am now having wifi issues though but going through drivers at the moment (was working fine earlier). Suggestions of driver version greatly received…
If any of above is unclear let me know and I can try and expand.

Hello, thanks for your answer.
You have a X80 Pro then?
The driver where you found them?
Maybe you want a backup of the original drivers of the wifi of my tablet?October 29, 2016 at 10:10 am #55973Hello everyone,
I’m new here too, and I have the same question than you, I’m owner of a X80 plus and I want to update it to Anniversary. As far as I could understand you have installed windows on the SD CARD? Could you please explain me how you have done the installation?
Thanks in advance,

Hi @richiet . Please elaborate on how you do so as I recently factory reset my Teclast x80 Pro and am using the firmware before the annivesary update. I have tried using Windows Creation Tool and it require 3gb or more. Currently I have only 2gb free space on my C drive and I am unable to remove any more stuff without touching the Systems file
December 6, 2016 at 3:31 pm #58138For what it’s worth, I got tired of messing around with the different methods proposed for updating to the anniversary edition and came up with my own somewhat unconventional way. I wanted a clean and easy way to do it because both my wife and I have X80 Pros and I like to experiment haha. I’ve probably wiped and redone each of them four or five times now.
I took the back cover off (one of the tablets came with a faulty SD card socket so I had already learned how to take the back off when I replaced that) and attached a 4.4 VDC supply straight to the red and black leads of the battery, attached an external flash drive and pointed Windows to it when it complained of not enough space. Wake up in the morning and it’s done. I limit the current to 1 amp. If the battery is charged all the way at the beginning it draws less than that and by morning is drawing just what is needed for the tablet to idle, maybe 150 mA.
Like I said, not a real option for most but I figured there are some tinkerers in the group here.
December 20, 2016 at 2:49 pm #58991Hi,
I lose all my drivers and need to make a fresh install of windows, could you please send me a backup of all the driver ?
Regards
Marc
