Upgradeable tablet ? kind a "Free Choice Tablet" ?

It would be very nice, if there is possibility to buy tablet without SSD and RAM. Windows 10 and/or android is downloadable from manufacturers website or it is with in packgage on USB memory stick and automatic installation to run.

This way, price may drop… customer decides how big SSD or how much Mem is needed.

The only thing I have seen close to that is the Live fan S1 notebook. You can buy it without a SSD, install your own and OS to save a bit.

Trouble is ram slots take up extra width, so it wouldn’t be a slim tablet you speak off.
