    Hi,

just read through all topics in this forum, but couldn’t find any related topic, so it seems I’m the only one experiencing this kind of problem?

First of all, I have been using the Chuwi Hi10 Tablet for about 3 month now and I’m pretty happy with it, considering the price point.

I was using a USB Mouse Dongle in the USB 2.0 Port and in the USB 3.0 Port I was connecting USB Sticks and other device to configure or whatever.

A few days ago after a Windows Reboot the USB 3.0 port stopped working (not device recognized). When trying the USB 2.0 Port the devices worked fine. So at first I thought that the USB 3.0 Port is/was dead.
Then I found out, that USB 3.0 devices work fine in the USB 3.0 Port, just USB 2.0 didn’t!?! Did a little bit Google searching and found quite a few solutions for those kind of problems like “Update the USB Hub drivers”, “Remove the USB Hub driver and Reboot”, Uninstall latest Windows Updates, etc.

I tried all those, but unfortunately the behaviour is the same.

So I’m not sure if the really can be a hardware related issue or more likely a software driven. I have my Windows pretty much set up with everything I need and don’t want to throw it away, but I may try a bootable WindowsPE USB Stick if I can manage to build one with “Rufus”. If the USB 3.0 Port recognizes a USB 2.0 device in this Live-Windows Enviroment, then it’s clear that my Windows has a hick up, if not it might be a defective USB 3.0 Port.

So this are my plan to investigate further into this issues. Just thought maybe some of you guys have a hot hint for me, which might help me solve this problem?

    Thanks and regards

Do you have any restore point prior to the USB having problem?
