Hi all, I hope this will not be a duplicate of some other post, I searched the forums and couldn’t find anything.

I recently got my new Hibook Pro, fantastic little machine, but it has a problem: I cannot figure out how to use the USB C port in OTG mode, all other ports work fine and even the type-c port does when the tablet is connected in deviceĀ  mode to another PC to transfer files, however, if I try to connect an OTG adaptor to use the port in host mode, the tablet does not even provide power.

Is this normal? Is there something I can do/need to change in order to get it working?

    Thanks in advance!

Your problem probbaly lays in the plug itself, take a look at your cabels, i guess that the plug on the OTG cabel (the metal that plugs into the tablet)is shorter than on you charging cabel, its a known problem

Cut a little of the plastic on the OTG so it gets as long as the other cabel, and it vill probbaly work

Yes, the original charging cable has a slightly longer connector, but my Aukey usb-c cable doesn’t and it works well. When I boot up the tablet the OTG adaptor briefly provides 5V power, then shuts off.
