I’ve been using my Cube Mix Plus for a couple of months and it’s a great tablet. However, my one problem is with USB C. I’ve tried 2 different cables using USB C – one to charge, which didn’t work, and more recently a USB C to HDMI adapter. This hasn’t worked either. When plugging in the adapter, windows suggests that the device has features that the computer doesn’t support! All I’m trying to do is plus it in to my TV.
Hi Ken, Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I’ve enabled USB-C on the Bios and it still hasn’t got the port working. In relation to the Power Delivery for the charger – do you know how many amps it needs to power the Mix Plus at all?
The standard charger that come with the tablet requires 24w (12v 2amps). Therefore you will need a Type-C PD charger that can output more than 24w.
Yeah, my charger is rated at 40W, so should be fine. However it’s max. output is 2.4 amps – is that enough?
To be honest, my main concern is why the new Type C to HDMI adapter isn’t working as I’ve really wanted to hook it up to a monitor and work dual screen.
With that not working and the Mix Plus not charging, I’m getting that sinking feeling that the USB C port is kaput. 🙁
