    Hi,

I use this one and it works perfectly:

    I got it here: http://www.banggood.com/4-Port-Micro-USB-OTG-Charger-HUB-Cable-For-Tablet-Phone-p-975460.html

Switch pos #1 is just a plain hub.

Switch pos #2 it will slowly charge and be a hub. But you need to reboot or start the tablet with it connected and switched to #2.

    Hope that helps.

I bought an “ACASIS” branded 3 port OTG hub from ebay which is a little bit cheaper than a 4 port hub and it works well with the Hi8:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=3%20PORT%20USB%202.0%20OTG%20HUB%20CHARGING%20CABLE%20FOR%20TABLET&_pppn=r1&scp=ce0

With the switch on the hub in the no. 2 position It works well in windows to support USB devices and charge the tablet (although the charging current is not very high compared to a direct charging cable). I would recommend a good quality shorter usb micro cable (i.e 20cm or less) when using with a hub to ensure maximum charging current.

In Android I can’t seem to get the charge function to work while usb devices are attached to the hub – I have to set the hub switch to no. 3 position and use it as a non-powered USB hub if I want the OTG function.

Setting the hub switch to position no.1 appears to just allow charging only with no USB OTG function. However, given that it charges with less current than a direct connection it is not very useful to use. Also I found in Windows it is not a good idea to change the hub switch setting while the hub is connected. If you are trying to use the OTG function and charge at the same time, it is best to set the switch to position no.2 and plug the hub into the tablet before turning it on and booting to Windows.
