Have you tried the USB ports with the keyboard disconnected?

You might want to rule out software issues by restoring a known good image.

I’m assuming that the devices you are connecting are not even being enumerated? Are you getting any sounds being played or notifications when you attach these devices?

Can you get a keyboard working on the OTG port? If so have you checked that the USB ports are enabled in BIOS? (DO NOT disable any ports even if you intend to re-enable them later).

Can you check for the presence of VBus on the ports? (Those little USB volt meter/ammeters are good for testing this).

I’ve already restored a working image. No devices are recognised when plugged in.

I haven’t been able to access the BIOS at this point. Once I’m in the menu I can’t access any options. I can only select 2 options (continue and boot from file) but can’t select them.

I can’t check for presence of vbus at this stage.

I’m not able to test a keyboard via otg at the moment, but I did test an otg USB drive with no success.

Other than talking to your supplier and requesting a return, I’m out of ideas. Someone else might be able to help you though…

My v10 Pro has just arrived and looking at the proximity of the keyboard pins to the metal trim makes me wonder if you might have something shorting out around there, try brushing the pins. VBus can be measured between the first pin on the left and the second from the right by the way.

Just curious. I’ve been reading here for a while. Would like to know who you purchased your tablet through.

I purchased mine from DigiHero Co LTD via Aliexpress and have not had one issue.  A large number here seem to have bought through gearbest and have nothing but problems.

Hmm, I got mine from Gearbest I hope you’re wrong with that hunch…
