Hi all, I’ve received my CHuwi Hi10 Plus (z8350 edition) and am putting it through its paces. So far, pretty good with a couple minor niggles.
I’ll post the device-specific issues in the appropriate forum. But one question I have concerns the ability to plug a Windows 10 tablet like this one into my main laptop or PC and having be able to transfer data and files directly. On my previous Android tablet I only had to enable the media transfer protocols (MTP) and I could then simply plug it in, open up the tablet’s directory, and cut & paste away.
With this tablet I’ve connected it with a microusb cable as well as the supplied USB-C cable, and nothing happens. Is this a WIndows 10 thing, and they don’t allow direct connections? Or do we have to enable some sort of protocol to let this happen?
Any wisdom you may have would be appreciated. I’m searching and so far – for Windows 10 – there doesn’t seem to be a problem, or even an acknowledgment of the situation, so I’m wondering if I’ve just missed something.
Thanks!
