AIDA64 is a good app to check charger performance in Android and selecting the right cable can make a big difference. First check the battery measurements with charger off to look at the discharge current and see how much current is needed just to run the tablet. In my case it was pulling about 750 mA at min brightness which went up to 1.2 Amps at 50% brightness. Then switch on the charger and it will change to charging current. In my case with a good charger and cable I could charge at about 1.5 Amps at min brightness but with a poor cable nearly all the current was going to power the device.

Cool tip! Yes a good cable helps a lot, I found using a thick gauge wire that doesn’t support usb data only power and a short cable works best. Someone gave a link for a good cable from aliexpress, but I can’t find the link for it now. Its a very short cable only like 150mm but charges great.
