Hey all, new here but really hoping for some practical advice. I manage a mid-size boutique hotel and guest vaping has become a serious headache lately. We keep finding evidence in rooms despite clear no-smoking policies, and it’s damaging furniture, leaving strong odors, and upsetting other guests. Cleaning costs are adding up fast.
We’re trying to find a smart way to monitor this without invading privacy too much. Has anyone in hospitality dealt with this successfully? Looking for devices that are discreet, accurate for hotel environments, and not too difficult or expensive to maintain. Would love to hear real stories from other hotel operators — what actually worked for you? Thanks in advance, any input is appreciated!

Hey buddy, I totally sympathize — we run a 45-room hotel and had the same nightmare last year. After testing a few things, I finally found something that made a real difference.
Their hotel vape detector turned out to be surprisingly effective in our daily operations. It caught incidents quickly but didn’t go off randomly, and installing them in key areas was straightforward. The support was friendly and helpful when I needed guidance on optimal placement. Units arrived much faster than expected, and it’s already helping us reduce complaints and unnecessary deep cleans.
If you’re still looking around, this is one I’d genuinely recommend checking out. Good luck, hope it gets better for you soon!
