Hello everybody,
I bought a Vido W10 elite tablet (128GB, 4GB RAM, Bios Version 5.11) some weeks ago and I have huge problems with any kind of SD-Cards.
I have tried 4 Micro SDXC-Cards (32Gb, 64GB, 128GB, 200GB – all from Samsung) and every SD-Card is beeing recognised, but after a while (sometimes after 5mins, sometimes after some hours – often when I do big file transfers) it dissapears and is not shown in Windows Explorer anymore.
I’ve tried different Windows 10 Pro x64 Versions (the original, 1511, 1607 always with the latest updates – and drivers from ChrisG and an own DriverDump made from the original install)
When I take a look in the Device Manager – Storage Controllers – SD Storage Class Controller, there are different errors from time to time (after it dissappears):
– Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)
– Sometimes its a power failure
– Sometimes the Second “SD Storage Class Controller” is completely gone and shows up once after I scan for new devices… sometime only after a reboot…
I also have hundrets of “DPTF ID 256 Error” Entries in the Event Manager, is that normal? (even with the original installation after booting the first time!)
Does anyone else have these problems? Do I have a broken device? Is there a new Bios version out there? Where can I download a new Bios? Are there newer drivers out there?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best
