My new Apollo Lake N4200 Voyo V3 lost its bluetooth device somehow, possibly after an Intel update to a newer BT software version. There was an AT31 folder with drivers on the ssd, including bt-ibtw0285_win10p-kbl-win10, but unfortunately installing these did not make bt come back.

Now I reinstalled Windows 10 Home to the internal 32GB emmc drive and bluetooth is still missing. In devmgmt.msc there is an Unknown USB device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) , but nothing about bluetooth.  Could it be that this unknown usb is actually the bt device?

Any ideas how should I proceed? Especially, can i force installation of bluetooth drivers somehow?

Except for this I’ve been very happy with this, it’s fast and runs cool, much cooler than Atom Z8700 based devices, I’ve got a mini pc with Z8700 and it seems to start heat throttling quite easily under load. In general good value for the $320 i paid for it.

I have exactly the same problem – did you ever find a cure for it?
